Featured Exercise: Double KB Racked Sled Carry

This could be the hardest damn exercise I have ever done and I hate Dan John for inventing it. Well, I don’t really hate Dan because he is like a sweet teddy bear (but obviously he has a mean streak).

I’m not kidding when I say that the contraction from your abdominals during this exercise will create a nauseating feeling and make it extremely difficult to maintain a normal breathing pattern. Like I have said before, for MMA athletes, drills like this are great for endurance. You have to brace your abs while breathing normal…. Just like fighting. And if you don’t, you either fatigue fast or get dropped from a shot to the gut.

Please don’t think this is only for fighters. It could be one of the most metabolically demanding exercises you will ever experience.
